Theresa A. Balmert, 78, entered into rest Monday, August 27, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born October 16, 1933 in Avon and lived her entire life in Avon Lake.
She was employed as a supervisor in the Order Department at Strong, Carlisle, and Hammond for several years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Avon Lake and enjoyed playing bingo and travelling.
She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Balmert of Avon Lake; and dearest friends, Michelle and Ron Wimmer, Stephanie and Jon Briggs and Bryan and Andrew Wimmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary (nee DeChant) Balmert; brother, George; and sisters, Rose, Rita and Katie.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Avon. (meet at cemetery.
