Myrtle Ruth Tabb married the true love of her life, Virgil Henry on Sept 11 1927. They had 3 sons and 2 daughters. One of the daughters died shortly after she was born. Myrtle loved to sew and cook. She was known around Madison, FL as the go to person if you needed a dress sewn. Myrtle was always looked forward to her family "get togethers". Myrtle loved to cook and you could not get her to sit and eat until everyone else was seated and had everything they needed on their plates. We will never forget her famous fried chicken and peach cobbler with homemade ice cream but most of all we will never forget that sparkle in her eye when she saw you enjoyed her cooking. Myrtle was indeed the most wonderful grandmother any one could ever wish for.
Grandma had Alzheimer's disease, also known as dementia. Even when we witnessed this awful disease rob our loving grandmother's of her memories of us, we will always have our memories of her.
We were all truly blessed to have had you as our grandmother. We love you grandma and save a drumstick for me. Your loving granddaughter, Saundra Dixon Dowling
