MARION - Graveside memorial services for John William Alexander, 82, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palmetto Memorial Gardens, directed by Richardson-Miles Funeral Home.
Mr. Alexander died Monday. Born in Kannapolis, N.C., he was a son of the late John H. and Maggie White Alexander. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Ellen Clapp Alexander; daughter, Brenda Green; brother, Thomas H. Alexander; sister, Flo Foster; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles H. Alexander.
