Charles Calvin Jamerson 73, of Green Mountain Drive, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006. A native of Yancey County. He was a son of the late Roy and Minnie Bell Silvers Jamerson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Irene Hensley and a brother, Ralph Jamerson. Surviving is his wife, Jeannette Chrisawn Jamerson: a duaghter, Brenda Holcombe and husband Stewart Holcombe of Burnsville: a brother Harold Jamerson of Burnsville. and nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Thursday at the Cane River Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Earl Grant officiating.
