Wanda Louise Huester also known as "Meema" a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, age 58, of West Jefferson, NC died on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. Mrs. Huester was born on May 22, 1953 in Baltimore, MD to Arnold Edward and Betty Carlton Kirk. She was a member of DAR and was active in many civic organizations in the community. She had a wonderful sense of humor, her infectious smile made every stranger a friend. Wanda was a great problem solver, decorator, loved music, dancing and was a beautiful person inside and out. She attended West Jefferson United Methodist Church. Family was the most important thing in her life.
