Jeannette C. Jamerson 65, of Burnsville went to be with the Lord Wednesday July 25, 2007. A native of Yancey county, she was a daughter of the late Welzie and Alice Scott Chrisawn. She was the wife of Charles Jameson who died in 2006. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Stewart Holcombe of Burnsville and a sister: Frances Edwards of Morganton. Graveside services were held at 11:00 am Saturday in the Cane River Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joe Bennett officiated.
