Mrs. Elmer Hoover Dies; Rites Set For Thursday
HAGERSTOWN - Mrs. Minerva Elizabeth Hoover, age 58, died at her home six miles southwest of Hagerstown Monday evening. (Her birth year was approximated.)
Mrs. Hoover was a Gold Star mother and a member of the Church of God at the Chicago Corner Church.
Survivors include the husband, Elmer Hoover; one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Cory of Indianapolis; her mother, Mrs. Lillie Wooten of New Lisbon; one sister, Mrs. Leonard Hoover of Muncie; two brothers: Herman Wooten of Flint, MI and Jasper Wooten of rural New Castle; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Brick Church of the Brethren and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call at the family home after noon Wednesday.
