Robert B. Bell

Robert B. Bell, 50, of Rt. 3, died at 5:10 p.m., Wednesday at St. John's Hospital after an illness of six weeks.

An employee of Songer Automotive Service, he had come here five years ago from Knoxville, Tenn. He was born on Aug. 25, 1917, in Morristown, Tenn. to Ulysses and Etta Bell.

Surviving are the widow, Beatrice; five children, Mrs. Ivan (Janice) Wheeler, Robert E. Bell, and Mrs. Jerry (Sharon) Morford, all of Anderson, Mrs. Thomas (Brenda) King and Mrs. Chris (Judy) Day, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. H. A. [Mildred] Beeler, Mrs. John [Irene Georgia "Midge"] Etters of Knoxville, Tenn., Mrs. William [Christine] Gentry of Rialto, Calif., and Mrs. John [Susan] Godfrey of Victorville, Calif.; and ten grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Baker Brothers Funeral Home where arrangements are incomplete.

Last rites for Robert B. Bell, 50, of Rt. 3, Anderson, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Baker Brothers Funeral Home by the Rev. Verdean Owens of the Goodwin Memorial Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
