Dorothy Marie McClafferty, 431 Arch St., New Bethlehem, died Wednesday (April 5, 1978) at Brookville Hospital. She was born in Brookville the daughter of the late George and Mary (Rowe) Honadle. Her husband, John, died in January, 1971. They were married in September, 1915. Mrs. McClafferty was a member of St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, New Bethlehem. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Cravener (Louise) Gill and Mrs. John (Ruth) Shaffer of Oak Ridge, Mrs. Glenn (Dolores) Minich of home, Mrs. Ernie (Frances) Comini of Oil City; one son, Bernard of Monaca; two sisters, Mrs. Claude (Laverne) Stokes and Mrs. Pat (Helen) Reilly, both of Vandergrift; a brother, Fred of Zephyr Falls, Fla.; 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. McCLAFFERTY - Friends of Dorothy Marie McClafferty, who died April 5, 1978, will be received at the Mateer Funeral Home, New Bethlehem from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be said Saturday at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, New Bethlehem, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Donald Cooper officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Arrangements by Mateer.

McClafferty, who died April 5, 1978, is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Richard (Helen) McCool of Beaver, Mrs. Cravener (Louise) Gill of New Bethlehem, Mrs. John (Ruth) Sloan of New Bethlehem, Mrs. Gerald (Rita) Shaffer of Oak Ridge, Mrs. Glenn (Dolores) Minich of home, Mrs. Ernie (Frances) Comini of Oil City; one son, Bernard of Monaca; 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Claude (Laverne) Stokes and Mrs. Pat (Helen) Reilly, both of Vandergrift; and a brother, Fred of Zephyr Falls, Fla. A son, William, died in 1952. In Thursday's obituary several family members were erroneously omitted of identified.
