DAYTON, OH - Janet Marie Elkins Booth, 59, of Dayton, OH, formerly of Hewett, died September 27, 2004, at the Hospice House in Dayton, OH, after a short illness.

Born June 10, 1945, in Boone County, she was the daughter of Charlotte Virginia Hager Elkins of Hewett and the late Arland French Elkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Andrew Booth and son, Terry Booth.

She attended Scott High School.

Surviving: daughter and sons-in-law: Donna And Charles Tucker of Redford, MI, Joyce and Andy Rea of Crawley, TX, Margie Booth of Dayton, OH, Charlotte Booth of Dayton, OH; sister, Georgia Dent of Hewett; brothers, Eddie Elkins of Hewett and Robert (Bob) Elkins of Jeffrey; grandchildren, Marcus Todd Booth, Brandon Tucker, Preston Tucker, Andera Rea, J.R. Rea, K.J. Canon, and Richard Canon; a special friend Bob; and a host of family and friends.

Service was October 2, 2004, at Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Dent officiating. Burial was in Henderson Ball Cemetery, Hewett. Pallbearers were: Robert Dent, Charles Dent, Bud Elkins, James Kelley, Chris Kelley, and Melvin Kelly.
