She was born January 11, 1925, in Prosperity, daughter of Harry and Henrietta Ringer Rankin.
Mrs. Crupe attended Living Waters Church and was a homemaker.
Prior to her retirement, she was a cafeteria worker at Trinity High School and Middle School.
She enjoyed the outdoors, where she liked to grow flowers.
On July 6, 1946, in Prosperity, she married Delmar E. Crupe. Mr. Crupe died August 16, 1983.
Mrs. Crupe is survived by son William E. Crupe of Washington; two daughters, Diane (E. Edward) Lee of Baltimore, Ohio, and Linda (Raymond E.) Morris of Washington; two brothers, Ronald Rankin of Uniontown and James Rankin of Hopwood; five sisters, Ann Phillips of Washington, Mary Jane Williams of Claysville, Geraldine Fisher of Fairchance, Freda Ritz of Hopwood and Dottie Campbell of Fairchance; six grandchildren, Andrew, Deanna, Stacy, Scott, Brian and Tiffany; 11 great-grandchildren, Wesley, Bailey, Riann, Maddie, Dylan, Brianna, Trevor, Grace, Ashley, Andrew and Riley; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Harry Jr., Robert and Donald Rankin, and sister Gladys Bush.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Hummell & Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, funeral director, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 9, with the Rev. Paul Thomas and Michael Roach co-officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
