LEWISBURG - Roscoe Irving Darlington, 79, of Lewisburg died Feb. 8, 1997, at home after an apparent heart attack. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a life member of the American Legion and was retired from the state Department of Highways with 39 years' service. Surviving: wife, Nellie Campbell Darlington stepsons, Melvin of Martinsburg, John of Baltimore stepdaughters, Janet Sampson of Baltimore, Joyce Fahey of Delray Beach, Fla. Service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jack K. Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, Frankfort.
