Jim was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, NC. he was the son of the late Horace and Essie King. He was proceded in death by an infant sister, Novella King. He is survived by his wife of 55yrs Myrtle Smith King, four daughters and two sons, 13 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren. Jim was a self-employed trucker and mechanic and an avid race fan. Wells Funeral Home in Canton handled the arrangements.
