Wilbur Charles Berryman passed away at the Dodgville General Hospital on Thursday June 15, following a long illness.
Wilbur was the oldest of 4 children born to Charles and Elizabeth Augusta (Bartle) Berryman of Dodgeville on May 23, 1886. He attended the North Survey country school was graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1909, and taught in rural schools in Iowa County for 4 years.
On October 15, 1913, Wilbur and Kathryn Sophia Schwingle of Highland were united in marriage at the Muscoda Lutheran Parsonage, Muscoda, Wis. by Rev. Klingbiel. To this union 2 children were born: Lavon (Mrs. Orrin Paulson) of Viroqua, and Donald of Madison. Previous to Mr. and Mrs. Berryman's retirement to Dodgeville in November, 1960, they farmed in North Survey area for 47 years.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Berryman and Lavon and Donald are a sister Mrs. Richard Thomas (Stella), of Ridgeway; a brother Curtis of Detroit; 8 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of relatives and friends. A sister Mrs. Frank Thomas (Geraldyne) passed away in 1962. Blessed be his memory.

NOTE His daughter's was given the name Kathryn Lavon Berryman
She goes by Lavon.
