PRINCETON - Irene Waring, 88, died in Freiburg, Germany. Born in Braunsweig, Germany, Mrs. Waring resided in Princeton her last 33 years. Wife of the late Robert Olaf Waring, who was a foreign service officer and economic attache, she is survived by four daughters and a son, Michael Waring of Metuchen, NJ, Karen Waring Geissler, Nina Jakob and Richard Waring, all of Freiburg, Germany; seven grandchildren and a great- granddaughter.
[In her later years she wrote a book about her life. The manuscript still exists in a digital format and is available from Therese Boucher.]
