James Alfred "Junior" McFalls, age 79, of the Bethel community, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at his home.
A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was a son of the late James Alfred McFalls, Sr. and Maude Rogers McFalls. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Fincher McFalls, who died in 2009. Junior was retired from Champion International with 35 years of service.
He is survived by a daughter, Mitzi McFalls Lanning of Hendersonvile; a son, Dudley McFalls and his wife, Clara, of Canton; two brothers, Bobby McFalls and his wife, Marlyn, of Canton and Joe McFalls of Leicester; two granddaughters, Daphne McFalls and Holly Milanese and her husband, Josh; and four great-grandchildren, Claire Ayala, Kolby Pressley, Katy Pressley, and Lucas Milanese.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MedWest Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
