PAYTON Mrs. Mabel Rose "Mamu" "Babysister" Evans Payton was a life-long resident of Eight Mile, AL and a devoted member of Highpoint Baptist Church. She was born on December 25, 1943, to the late Mr. & Mrs. James (Corine) Evans. She departed this life on July 30, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Payton, Sr. and her sister, Barbara Ann Evans Jones.
Interment in Gethsemane North Cemetery.
