OBITUARY :
CATHY M. SHEELE, 57, of Newburg, died on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born on July 1, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland Co., the daughter of the late Clarence and Catherine Minerd Myers, Sr.
Cathy was a homemaker throughout her life.
She attended the Ridge Church of the Brethren, the Moose Lodge #2500, and the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion, Post #223, all of Shippensburg.
Cathy liked to swim, go on outings, garden in her flower beds, and most of all spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Sheele; her son, Thomas J. Sheele, Sr. of Shippensburg; her daughter, Kimberly (Chris) Eby of Georgia; one brother, Clarence Myers, Jr. of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Kyleigh Nicole Eby, Cassadi Elizabeth Eby, Thomas Joseph Sheele, Jr., Ethan James Sheele, and Teagan June Sheele; and her dog Max.
In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Wayne Myers.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2012, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Harold E. Yeager will officiate. Interment will follow in the Otterbein Cemetery.
Viewing will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at 417 Phoenix Dr. #A Chambersburg, PA 17201.
