Michael Lee "Mike" Hudson, 66, of Norwood, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Norwood First Baptist Church. Rev. Ronny Russell will officiate and internment will follow in Norview Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00, prior to the service in the fellowship hall.
Mike was born Nov. 9, 1945, in Stanly County to the late Marvin Lee and Louise Burr Hudson
He was a 1964 graduate of South Stanly High School and proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retiree of Burr Wallcovering.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Chucky Lynn Hudson.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany and husband Chip Rummage of Norwood, Hillary and husband Walt Lee of Key West, Fla: grandchildren, Preston Rummage, Huntley Rummage of Norwood, Lily Lee and Gabby Lee of Key WEst, Fla: sister Judy Hudson Russell and husband Ronny of Locust: niece, Jennifer Barbee of Locust: and nephew, David Russell of Chapel Hill.
