Arthur Warren Black, 64, Steele, Route One, died at a local hospital. Survivors: wife, Ida M. Black; daughters: Mrs. Vivian Nyberg, Steele; Mrs. Evelyn Lanzillo, Tallahassee, Florida; five grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Graveside service at Forrest Cemetery. Mr. Black was a native of Rhode Island and a resident of St. Clair County, AL for a number of years. He was a veteran of World War II. He was employed at Republic Steel Corp. for 25 years.


(The above mentioned wife was Iva Mae. Vivian Nyberg and Evelyn Lanzillo were mentioned as Mr. Black's daughters in his obituary, but they were born before he married Iva. Their father was William Henry "Bill" Sprinkle.)

Sprinkle, on Dec 22, 1928 in Etowah Co., AL and had son Earl Belton Sprinkle and his obituary shows his mother as Iva Glenn Black.

Between the marriage to William Sprinkle and Arthur Warren Black, Iva was married to M.E. Walters in 1936 until their divorce in 1939.

Della Von Dora "Dellar" Brown James (mother of Iva Mae) is buried in Forrest Cemetery.
