Penny Sue Baisden, 48, of Foster, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at her home after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on Dec. 28, 1955, to the late Delmar and Belva “Bedgie” Arbaugh of Hamlin.
She was a member of the Lory Julian Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Earl Baisden of Foster; daughters, Bridget Machel Arbaugh of Foster and Mindy Jean Baisden of Danville; three grandchildren, Matthew Shane Arbaugh of Foster, Kayla Nicole Chapman and Brady Alan Peck, both of Danville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Louise Porter of West Hamlin; sisters, Donna Fisher and her husband, Dickie of Kenna, Betty Swanson and her husband, Jerry of Hamlin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Jr. and Joy Porter of Milton and Teddy and Joy Porter of Sweetland; also a host of family and friends.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with the Rev. Russell “Buck” Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Sweetland, W.Va.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
