Catherine M. Ivey, 89 of Hockessin, died on July 24, 2012.
Catherine was a loving wife of 65 years to her husband Lonnie. She will be missed by her son Charles Ivey (Gail Cain) of Newark, grandchildren; John (Patricia) Ivey and Carolyn (Joseph) Lusby, 6 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Survivors also include her sisters, Bernadette, Rosalie, Geraldine, and Francina and brothers Gerald and John. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Margaret.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday July 28, 2012 at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 7230 Lancaster Pike where friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will follow the service on Saturday in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heartland Hospice, 261 Chapman Road, Suite 100, Newark, DE 19702.
