Mrs. Davis was born February 11, 1921 in Bamberg, S.C., the daughter of Charles H. Herron, Sr. and Nettie Sanders Herron.
She was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband; five sons, Edward J. Davis of Columbus, Ga., Richard C. Davis of Raeford, N.C., C. Mark Davis of Summerville, S.C., D. Timothy Davis of Greenville, N.C., R. Christopher Davis of Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, Ruben Herron of Charleston, S.C., Jack Herron of Savannah, Ga., James Herron of Rock Hill, S.C.; two sisters, Sarah Cain of Summerville, S.C. and Lucille Williams of Charleston, S.C.; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
