Mrs. Anna Marie Nelson, 65, Dodgeville, died on Monday, March 15, 1976, at her home.

She was born at Rice Lake, on April 25, 1910, the daughter of Conrad and Maue Hamman Retrum. She was raised and educated in Hollandale. In 1929 she married Ole C. Nelson at Daleyville. They farmed in the Hollandale-Blanchardville area until his death in 1961. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Dodgeville.

Surviving are two son, Kermit, North Wales, Pa., and Robert, Prairie du Sac; two daughters, Mrs. Wallace (Elaine) Bernards, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Roy (Doris) Goodwin of Omaha, Nebr.; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandson; her mother, Dodgeville; a brother, Lawrence, Spring Green; five sisters, (Myrtle) Mrs. Dan Christenson, (Dorothy) Mrs. Reuben Johnson, (Ruth) Mrs. Louren Gutherz, all of Dodgeville, (Lillian) Mrs. Curtis Milestone, Blanchardville, and (Clara) Mrs. Tony Hendrickson, Hollandale.

Services will be held Friday, March 19 in the Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville at 1 p.m., Rev. Luther Borgen will officiate.

Friends may call Thursday after 7 p.m. at the McGinley Funeral Home, Dodgeville, and at the church until time of services on Friday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Blanchardville.
