Forest Home Cemetery research, Oct 2005:
The Graefes and Muellers are all in one burial plot, in Lot 10, Block 37, Section 4.

FRIEDRICK GRAEFE was born in 1832, in Germany, and died in Milwaukee due to a heart problem. At time of death he was a married man residing at 264 W. Water Street in Milwaukee. Family stated to the Funeral Director that he was 68 and 4/12 years old when he died on March 7, 1891. His interment took place on the 10th.

AMELIA GRAEFE was born in Germany on February 13, 1822, and died in Milwaukee due to Senility and Decubitus (bedsores) on October 23, 1906, with interment on the 25th. At time of death she was a widow residing at 497 - 28th Street.

DAVID MUELLER was born on February 12, 1859, and died due to Progressive Muscular atrophy on October 20, 1930, with interment taking place on the 23rd. At time of death he was a married man residing at 271 - 23rd St. He was born and died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

MINNIE MUELLER was born in Waukegan, Illinois on June 16, 1861 and died in Milwaukee on May 27, 1936, with interment on June 1, 1936. Her cause of death is listed as Chronic Interstitial Nephritis. At time of death she was a widow residing at 4122 W. Lisbon Avenue.

OSCAR F. MUELLER was born in Milwaukee on December 17, 1884. He died on February 18, 1891, with interment taking place on the 22nd. His cause of death was acute gastritis. His last residence address was also at 264 W. Water St.

EDNA E. MUELLER was born on July 8, 1887 and died on November 14, 1888 with interment on the 15th. This child died of infant cholera. At time of death she resided at 1282 Natonal Avenue. She had been buried in another Lot in the Cemetery until David Mueller purchased these graves on March 9, 1891.

Before 1930, all numbering system of Milwaukee homes was changed so that only Minnie's address would be the same as it is today.

David Mueller placed a monument on the Lot which contains 7 adult graves and 2 children's graves which would be next to the monument on either side. Only Edna is buried in one of these; the other is empty. To the northeast of the monument is Oscar F., Friedrick, and Amalia. To the southeast are Minnie and David. There are no individual grave markers, just the monument. There is, therefore, one child's grave and one adult grave still available for use. On July 15, 1931, an Albert C. Mueller became the Lot Representative, and then on March 1, 1972 a Louis G. Mueller became such.
