Ron attended Meeker Elementary School and Rodgers Junior High in Puyallup, Wash. The Alexander family then relocated to Moscow in 1971, where Ron graduated from Moscow High School in 1975. That was where he met his high school sweetheart, Mary Kate McGinty. Ron and Mary Kate were married June 11, 1977.
Ron worked at Safeway during his high school years and was training for management when he decided to get into the family trade. His carpentry career started at apprentice school in Uniontown, which was instructed by his father's good friend, Rich Marone. Upon completion of school, he went to work with his dad Ken and worked in the Palouse area before starting his own business, Alexander's Building Service. Ken and Ron contracted through Palouse Properties in Moscow for many years; Ron took over the operation when Ken got tired.
Ron had many interests, but his favorite thing to do was to go FISHING! He loved camping, and being outdoors, especially with his family. Ron was a family man and spent most his time with his wife and kids. Ron was always there whenever his kids needed support, advice, guidance, and a lecture at any hour. He wore out many wallets due to frequent opening and emptying to one kid or the other.
Survivors names omitted per findagrave policy.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary McGinty and a nephew, Brian McGinty
... Husband, father, friend ... the man!
