On November 8, 1975 she married Harmon Archer in Arkansas; he preceded her in death on February 1, 1999. Shirley worked in Social Services for the state of Arkansas for 10 years and prior to that was a nurse.
Shirley was a member of the Church of God Church in Pittsburg, KS. She enjoyed volunteering for the Girard Hospital. She will be most remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grand-mother and dear friend. She also enjoyed arts, crafts, and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Sonny Peddicord, and grandson Jason Hagebusch.
Funeral Services will be 1pm Wednesday January 16, 2008 at Church of God Church with Rev. Trent Belford officiating. Burial will follow at Frontenac City Cemetery in Frontenac, KS. Family will receive friends from 7-8pm Tuesday January 15, 2008 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS. Friends may call after 3pm on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family ask expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to Church of God Church. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S.
