Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jack (Adrian Leonard) Stewart, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 21, 2003.

He was born March 6, 1915 in St. Charles, Idaho to Leonard Taylor and Laura Clark Stewart. He married Myra Mae Vincent on June 24, 1942.

They were later sealed as a family in the Salt Lake Temple.

Jack faithfully served his country in World War II, serving in the Philippines and Japan. He worked at Civil Conservation Corps Camp in Provo, and was proud of his contribution to our country through that work. He was active in the LDS Church, having served in various callings.

"Grandpa" was a very loving and compassionate person. Having lost his father at a very young age, he always showed concern and kindness to those in similar circumstances. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Myra Mae. He is survived by his two sons, Ron and Roger (Gloria); five grandchildren: Brian (Brynn), Rob (Tiffany), Wendy (Jerry) Wilde, Heidi, and Jimmy; and two great-grandchildren, Kailen and Jack Wilde.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 26, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at the Geneva Heights 1st Ward, 590 North 900 West, Orem. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Orem City Cemetery. Services under the direction of Berg Mortuary of Provo.
