CLEMSON - Virginia A. Mitchell, 81, of 150 Downs Blvd., Apartment B 112, formerly of Westminster, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Atlanta, she was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Seneca. Surviving are widower, Edwin Thomas Mitchell of the home. . . She was the daughter of the late Virgil Emory and Louise Payne Adams. She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil E. Adams.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, Westminster, with the Rev. Clarice Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. July 10 at the funeral home.
