Herman Campbell Throneberry, a Bedford County native and retired owner of Throneberry Plumbing and Electric, died Saturday in Austin, Texas. He was 73.
Visitation with the family begins at 6 p.m. tonight at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest, with Dick Poplin and Delton Porter officiating. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Ann C. Throneberry; three daughters, Ms. Lana Throneberry of Austin, Mrs. Madge Odom of Austin and Mrs. Jane Loeffler of Manchester; two brothers, Wilson Throneberry of Shelbyville, and James Robert Throneberry of Norwalls, CA; a sisters, Mrs. Martha Burns of Shelbyville; and four grandchildren.
