George Conway aged 71 yrs. 7 months & 7 days passed away this morning at his home on Bullock Creek rd. of complications due to old age & heart trouble. Mr. Conway was born in Pennsylvania May 9,1844 & was a private in Company I., 102 Regiment of the U.S. Colored infantry. The funeral will be held Sat. morning at 10am from the home with interment in Midland cemetery. Besides the wife he is survied by survived by two sons and a step daughter at home and an older daughter living in Kent County
