Agnes Gooding, 79, of 600 N. Sixth, died at 12:33 A.M., Tuesday (November 29, 1994) in Blessing Hospital.

Born March 6, 1915, in Payson, Mrs. Gooding was a daughter of Charles L. and Blanche E. Winget Brocksieck.

She married Merle Henry Gooding July 16, 1947, in Quincy. He died July 2, 1974.

Mrs. Gooding was employed by Midwest Premier Line and Towel Service before her retirement in 1974.

Survivors include four sons, James L. Schnellbecher of Flower, Kenneth A. Schnellbecher of Griggsville, Gary L. Oderdahloff of Pittsfield, and Merle W. Gooding of Quincy; a daughter, Connie A. Gooding of Quincy; two sisters, Lillian E. Wellman of Mendon, and Edith D. "Happy" Gillum of Troutdale, Oregon; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gooding was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie J. Sparks; two brothers, Wilbur and Henry; and three sisters, Wilma, Alvera and Mary.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home by the Reverend Ray Peters.

Burial will be in Paloma Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5-7 tonight and until time of services Thursday in funeral home.
