Mrs. Clarinda Hodge, aged 68, who resided with her daughter, Mrs. Birdie Gose, 908 East Third street, died in Mercy Hospital at 8:45 this morning. She was admitted to the hospital last Monday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clarinda Daniel Hodge, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Rupp funeral home and interment was in Woodland cemetery. The Rev. Silas P. Perry, pastor of the Frist Baptist Church, officiated.
Mrs. Hodge was born in North Carolina, October 8, 1870. She married Robert Henry Hodge October 8, 1895, and come to Monroe in the year 1933.
She died at Mercy Hospital Saturday morning after a six month's illness, from complications. She had been living with her daughter Mrs. Tip Gose at 908 East Third street.
Surviving are two sons Hugh of Deskins, Virginia, James of Monroe: two daughters, Mrs Gose and Mrs. Frazier Golden of Monroe; five brothers, three sisters and six grand children.

Services for Mrs. Clarinda Hodge, who died last Saturday in Mercy Hospital were held in Rupp's funeral home Monday afternoon. The Rev. Silas Perry of the First Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Woodland cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Tolen, James A. Tolen, William Tolen, Andy Minton, Curt Claiborne and Chester Lambert.
