On May 9, 1850 Dennis W. Driscoll along with his Mother Frances Kelly Driscoll, brother Timothy, sisters Mary, Jane Nancy Ann and Margaret arrived in Boston, Massachusetts aboard the ship Plymouth Rock from Liverpool, England they had come to America to escape the Potato Famine in Ireland. They were met by their father William O. Driscoll who was already here.
On August 26, 1867 in Taunton, Massachusetts Dennis W. Driscoll, 22 a nailer from Dighton, born in Ireland to William & Fanny, married Mary A. Smith, 16 born in Taunton to John & Mary A. this was the first marriage for both.
