He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was of the United Methodist faith.
Survivors are his wife, Sara Revis Abercrombie; three sons, Morris V. Abercrombie and his wife, Donna, of Spartanburg, L. Steven Abercrombie and Bobby J. Abercrombie; three sisters, Bobbie Todd of Greenville, Sylvia Lawrance of Woodruff and Faye Cothran of Walterboro; two brothers, Rudolph Abercrombie of Florence and Donnie Abercrombie of Lexington; and six grandchildren, Lindsi S., Nicholas R., Jordan T., Sidney R., Mary Jane and Adam Abercrombie.
Services will be today, Jan. 2, 2004, at noon in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Lee Cothran and the Rev. Jerry James, with burial following in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 10 to noon, before the service, at the funeral home.
Family will be at 104 Mystic Court, Simpsonville.
