Wife of Ules Layton; dau. of Thomas Guinn and Nancy Ann Page. Vada Layton, 88, of Poplar Bluff, MO, died October 24, 1995 at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. She was born April 25, 1907, at Kime, MO. Mrs. Layton was a lifelong resident of Butler County, and was a cook for the Broseley school system. She attended Black River General Baptist Church. Mrs. Layton was married to Ules Layton on July 3, 1924, at Chanonia, MO. He preceded her in death May 21, 1990. They had two daughters, Berniece Tomerlin and Doris Mondy.
