Husband of Minerva Crume
--------
Some additional hints/findings for others:
1. On the 1860 United States Federal Census, Stanley is listed as a 24-yr-old "Marshall S Brown" with his parents (63-yr-old "Marshall S Brown" and 62-yr-old Sallie (aka Sarah) Vittitow Brown) - assume that Stanley was actually "Marshall S Brown Jr."
2. Also on the 1860 United States Federal Census, there is a 22-yr-old "Minerva Brown" listed, but that is Stanley's *sister*; Stanley and Minerva Crume did not marry until 18 Apr 1880
3. A great additional hint is U.S., School Catalogs, 1765-1935 which lists "Marshal Stanley Brown" in 1855 as a Junior enrolled at Hanover College - again, assume this is "Marshall Stanley Brown, Jr." because the student would have been 24 yrs old
