Obituary in The Chattanooga Times, June 3, 2002: "Bettye Jo Narrimore, 68, of Hixon passed away Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Narrimore and her husband owned and operated Dallas Fishing Supply for 25 years and she was employed by TVA Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. She attended Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Vlarcey Schuhmacher. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Narrimore; three daughters, Sherry Harris, Decature, Ala., Lachone Narrimore Roe, Dayton, Tenn., Beverly J. Narrimore, Hixon; two sisters, Mary Shadwick, Soddy-Daisy, Sue Wilkey, Hixon; twp grandsons, Mathew and Joshua Harris, Decatur; and a sister-in-law, Lodema Bean, Hixon...."
