He was a lifelong resident of North Hamilton County and an employee of the Hamilton County Board of Education. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clarcie Schuhmacher, Soddy; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Shadwick, Daisy; Mrs. Leonard Narrymore, Hixon; Mrs. Kenneth Wilkey, Hixon; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kaylor, Soddy; Miss Victoria Schuhmacher, Daisy; five grandchildren' several nieces and nephews...."
