Mrs. Julia Therrell Baker ,age 30, died on Tuesday, December 11, 1934, in the Anson Sanatorium in Wadesboro, North Carolina, after a critical illness of only a few days with Heart Trouble and Pneumonia. Born on January 3, 1904 in Anson County, North Carolina. She was the Daughter of the late John Wesley and Mary Jane Hubbard Therrell of the Gordon Mountain section. She was the wife of Eli Baker who is in a government veterens hospital in Florida.
Also Surviving are two daughters, Lela May and Eula Victoria Baker; two sons, James William and John Boyce Baker; three sisters, Mrs. John (Sarah Minnie) Hargett, of Monroe, NC; Mrs. J. W.(Maggie) Russell, of the Brown Creek Community; Mrs. Herbert (Annie) Yoder of Hickory, NC.; two brothers, J.D. Therrell and L.M. Therrell of Patrick, SC.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Liza Jane Baker and two infants.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, December 12, 1934 at the graveside conducted by the Rev. W.R. Harris. Interment was in the Hubbard Cemetery.
