Stephen Glynn Fleming of Casper, Wyoming died on June 7, 2012 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was 28 at the time of his death and was just two days shy of his 29th birthday.
Stephen was born on June 9, 1983 in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was a beloved son of Beverly Elizabeth Fleming, brother of Ashley Elizabeth Fleming and father of Alyssa Nicole Hinchen. Stephen attended both Roosevelt High School and Casper College. He was employed at Energy Transportation.
Stephen loved spending time with his family, visiting his sister in California and riding his motorcycle with friends. He enjoyed most of all watching his darling daughter roast marshmallows, play basketball, and tease her grandma Bev. He was a gentle giant who was a loyal friend to all the people in his life.
Stephen is survived by his daughter, Alyssa; his mother, Beverly, both of Casper; sister Ashley of California; girlfriend Sabrina Lessman, and "Grandma" Kay also of Casper. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother Lillian Fleming, who was his rock during his early years and has surely welcomed him home.
Stephen's funeral will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church today at 10:30am. Pallbearers include Billy Meade, Garrett Hutchinson, Larry Nash, Gerald Evenson, James Piro, Josh Hayes, Randy Waldron, and Anthony Johnson. Many of the riders community will act as honorary pallbearers.
Graveside services will be held at Memorial Gardens, followed by a reception at the home of Billy and Colleen Meade. A memorial fund has been established in Stephen's name at Hilltop Bank. The family would like to thank the Casper motorcycle community and Stephen's peers at Energy Transportation for their support during this time.
