Amber was preceded in death by her parents, William (Kathryn) Toole; and her sister, Kathryn Morrow. She is survived by her husband, Jay Ahmann, of 66 years; as well as three daughters, Leanette Wolfe of Palos Verdes, Patricia Price of Beverly Hills, and Christine Dumelle of Placentia. There are also four grandchildren, Jennifer, Kimberly, Christopher, and Wendy; and five great-grand children, Avery, Abigael, Connor, Jack, and Sarah.
Throughout her life Amber was active in a variety of causes and organizations, often holding positions of responsibility within each group. She was a member and past-president of the Northridge Women's Club. At the time of her death, Amber belonged to the Rancho Buena Vista Chapter of the DAR. Earlier in life, she had held board positions, including Regent, in other chapters of the DAR.
Amber was active in PEO, North County Hospice, and other organizations, including her church. She also enjoyed a wide range of interests; among them genealogy, music and travel, and had a special love of entertaining.
