He went overseas in Jan., 1944; served in campaigns of Po Valley, Rome-Arno, Apennines; re-assigned to Hdqs. at Senigalia (Italy), Corsica, Sardinia, and last to Sinaia (Romania). Awarded Sharpshooter, Good Conduct, ETO Medals with 3 Stars, and Combat Inf. Badge. Still overseas with 2621 Gru. Det.
