CLEVELLE-HUDSON, Donna Jean , 61 (5 June 1947 - 13 Nov. 2008) Donna Jean (formerly Westfall) departed this life for the next after a brief illness, surrounded by her family, in the early hours of 13 November. Donna was born and raised in Dayton with her four siblings and most of her extended family. After graduation from Belmont High School, Donna fell in love with and married Lewis Clevelle, also of Dayton, and began a family of her own. She and Lew raised 3 grateful children from Colorado to Maryland and all points in between. After Lew's unexpected death in 1985, she moved her family back to Dayton, eventually settling in Beavercreek, where she would continue her education and career. In 1990, she married Vergil Hudson of Jackson, KY, who brought to the family two sons of his own. Donna and Vergil would share many of life's milestones and were looking forward to marking 20 remarkable years together. Donna leaves behind many close friends and family, but joins a few as well. Donna is preceded in death by first husband Lew, father Ancil Lee, mother Anna Jane, sister Jacqueline Mae and others. She is survived by husband Vergil Hudson, daughter Melissa Anne, sons Jason Lewis and Jonathan Aaron, step-sons Wendell Keith and Scott Russell, daughter-in-law Karolyn Ann, daughter-in-law-to-be Tiffany Lyn, grandsons Jacson Lewis, Colson Lewis and Justin Lewis, sisters Linda Anderson and Charlene Morgan, brother Robert Westfall and several in-law siblings; nephews James Morgan, Jeremy Shadowens, Nicholas Shadowens and Todd Anderson, nieces Stephanie Grizzle, Katie Ott, Emily Kneff and Jenny Bowling, and many in-law and grand-nephews, nieces and extended family. Visitation will be Monday, 17 November from 5-8pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 18 November at 11am at Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 4701 Far Hills Ave., Kettering. Any donations made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420, or any cancer research project of your choosing in Donna's name are encouraged and appreciated by the family.
