Inice was survived by stepdaughter Eileen Anderson and her husband John, and Eileen's sons: Greg Haines, his wife Bethany, and their sons Grant and Garrett; Jeph Haines, his wife Suzanne, and their children Lily and Riley who reside in California. Inice was also survived by her son Robb Greathouse, his wife Marcella, and their sons Robert, Ian and Bryce, of Albuquerque and Portland, Oregon. Aunt Inice was beloved by her many nieces and nephews.
Inice attended Truman Public Schools and was Valedictorian of her class at Truman High School. She received her BA in Education at University of Arkansas and completed her masters work at California State University in Santa Barbara. She settled, as a kindergarten teacher, in Coalinga, California where she was active in the community receiving several civic awards. She was a member of Eastern Star and Beta Sigma Phi. She was active in her church and served a mission in North Carolina. She lived in Coalinga until 2008, when she moved to Albuquerque. Her friends and her church were foremost in her life and she was always eager to serve. In 1954, she married Robert Vernon Greathouse.
Memorial Service was on May 26, 2012 at French–University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Private interment was in Bakersfield, California.
