Leicester - Tillman Wiley Fleming, 73, of 48 Crowder Road died Tuesday November 16, at the Mt. Area Hospice Solace Center.

A native of Madison County, he had resided in Buncombe County since 1971. He was a member of Meadow Fork Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a son of the late James Harvey and Reva Seay Fleming and was also preceded in death by a sister, Corena Brown.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Fleming of the home; daughter, Barbara Kirkpatrick and husband Benjamin of Leicester; son, Keith Fleming and wife Charlotte of Fletcher; sisters, Ailene Spitaleri of Washington State, Zetta Phillips of Alabama, Ruth Holt of Hot Springs, Judy Evans of Waynesville, Cecil Davis of Leicester and Peggy Presnell of Waynesville; brothers, Shad Fleming of Washington State, Delmore Fleming of Hot Springs and Hugh Fleming of Fletcher; grandchildren, Kimberly Kirkpatrick, Jonathan Fleming and Amanda Fleming and great grandchildren; Joshua Sluder and Sydney Sluder.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Cable officiating.

Burial will be in the Meadow Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
