Lawrence Leonard Cross, age 79, of Rt. 2, Little Hocking, Ohio, died Monday at University Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Akron, OH, the son of the late Leonard and Lydia Gantz Cross. He had been employed with PPG for 25 years until he retired in 1974. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church in Torch, OH.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Grace Boone Cross; two daughters, Loretta of Parkersburg and Carolyn of Downingtown, PA; seven grandchildren: Sherri, Debbie, Kathy , Richard, Terry, Beverly, and Tammy. He had nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Gospel Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Wilson and Pastor Jim Neidich officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Vaughan Funeral Home from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday and at the church one hour prior to the services...
