Edward (Eddie) Mack Weaver went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 20, 2012, with his family by his side. He was born on December 21, 1939 in Wake Forest, NC to the late Frank H. and Clara Poole Weaver. Mack was an active member of the Wake Forest Church of God where he had 47 years of perfect attendance in Sunday School and served as an usher and greeter.
Mack's passion in life was his church, family, friends and fishing. During his career he worked at Royall Cotton Mill, Schrader Bellows, Alcatel and he retired from Temple Baptist Church Day School.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, May 23, 2012 at Wake Forest Church of God. Burial will follow in Wake Forest Cemetery.
Mack is survived by his sister, Lora W. Horton; nephew, Dr. Maurice Horton and wife, Allison; niece, Betty Smith and husband, Dean; great-nieces and nephews, Kyle, Katie, Chase, Chaney and Lily. Mack was a kind, loving brother, uncle, and great-uncle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
