Dorothy June Vanderpool, age 79 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Tom and Pallie (Youngblood) Harris was born October 15, 1932 at Murray, Arkansas.
She was a member of the Jasper Assembly of God Church and loved volunteering at the Christian Food Room in Jasper. She and her husband moved to Holliday, Kansas about 1961 and lived there until the late 80's or early 90's when they returned to Newton County.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Pallie Harris; her husband, Rex Vanderpool; two sons, Jerry Vanderpool and Jimmy Vanderpool; four brothers, Rufus Harris, Slim Harris, Marvin Harris and Jessie Harris and one sister, Eilene Manen.
Burial in the Jasper Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
