Augusta L. Burnett, 83, of Piqua died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1928 in Piqua to the late Stephen Augustus and Margaret Louise (Pretty) Cruse. She married John J. Burnett on March 15, 1948 in Piqua; he survives.
Mrs. Burnett is also survived by two daughters, Diana Burnett (David) Cornelisse of Troy, Augusta DeLane (Larry) Grazulis of Tipp City; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Augusta was a 1945 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She retired from the Ledex Corporation of Vandalia. She enjoyed traveling and her winters spent with John in Navarre, Florida for the last 20 years.
